NDESIGN is proud to announce the launch of a new website for Daphne Hawk’s campaign for Franklin County Recorder. “Knowing how quickly a campaign moves, and how important it is for the candidate to get immediate and accurate information out to their supporters and prospective voters, we were extremely excited when Citizens for Hawk approached us about developing her campaign website,” said NDESIGN President, Nick DeFrancisco. “Daphne is an experienced leader, who became the County’s first female Recorder when she was appointed back in 2011″. During her first year, Daphne cut the Recorder’s annual budget by a quarter of a million dollars, while improving services to county consumers both in person and online.
When the Citizens for Hawk campaign approached NDESIGN, they were obviously interested in developing a great looking website. But just as importantly, they wanted a website that could serve as the central place for current and potential supporters to learn more about Daphne, her family and her performance record, while also getting up-to-the-minute information about the of the campaign itself. The new site will be used in the coming months to post news, events, and important information about the race.
“When we originally talked to Daphne’s campaign, we realized that this should be more than just another campaign website with bios and photos of the candidate,” added DeFrancisco. “We saw this as more of a central source, where people could come to get current information about the election, Daphne’s campaign and how things were going. That obviously precipitated us building in a lot of content management functionality, so that Daphne, her staff and volunteers could quickly and easily add content, photos, social media updates and videos to the site without being dependent on an outside source to handle this for them. We wanted the site to be an integral part of Daphne’s campaign for County Recorder, and we are really excited about how the project turned out.”
